Billy Joe Reeves

Billy Joe Reeves, son of the late Leroy Reeves and Frances Lyell Reeves, was born on Wednesday, March 22, 1961, in Hayti, Missouri and departed this life on Saturday, December 28, 2024, at the Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould at the age of 63 years 9 months 6 days. Billy was employed at Martin Sprocket and Gear in Paragould. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. Survivors include his wife, Brenda of their home in Paragould; two daughters, Crystal Herrera & Michael Edwards of Paragould, Melissa Reeves & Robert Charboneau of Paragould; granddaughter, Alexis Perry of Paragould; two great-grandsons, Kaysen & Lucian Perry, both of Sullivan, IL; two brothers, Kenneth Reeves of Charleston, IL, Henry Reeves of Neoga, IL; six sisters, Wilma Murray of Beecher City, IL, Geneva Haddix of Beecher City, IL, Donna Elliston of Effingham, IL, Mary Stark of Neoga, IL, Betty Harris of Newton, IL, Patricia Reeves of St. Elmo, IL, other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Jessica Reeves and three brothers, Vernon, Gary, & William Reeves. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 3, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at the House of Prayer, 403 East Kings Highway, Paragould. Visitation will begin there at 12:00 p.m. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery in Kennett. Powell Funeral & Cremation Services, Kennett is in charge of arrangements.
