Billy Glenn Hatchel

Billy Glenn Hatchel, son of the late Jimmy Hatchel and Lissie Peery Hatchel, was born on Thursday, July 6, 1950, in Huffman, AR and departed this life on Saturday, November 16, 2024, at the Mercy Heart Hospital in St. Louis at the age of 74 years. Billy Glenn Hatchel was a retired heavy equipment operator. He was a United States Army Veteran having served his country during the Vietnam War. On August 24, 1984, in Blytheville, Arkansas he was united in marriage to Janette Helms. She survives of their home in Kennett. Other survives include three sons, William Hatchel & wife, Monica of Florida, Kevin Robertson & wife, Katrina of Holcomb, Keith Robertson of Kennett; two daughters, Christina Hatchel of Steele; Ashley Donner & Michaela Franklin of Kennett; brother, Danny Hatchel of Atlanta, GA, 9 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, a granddaughter, Kylie Robertson, a sister, Margie Kearbey and brothers, Dewayne & Dale Hatchel. Memorial service is being planned for a later date. Powell Funeral & Cremation Services, Kennett is in charge of arrangements.
