Barry Lynn Pugh, son of William and Brenda Cunningham Pugh, was born on Sunday, October 17, 1976, in Flint, Michigan and departed this life on Wednesday, June 5, 2024, at his residence in Malden at the age of 47 years 7 months 19 days. Barry had been the Postmaster of the White Oak Post Office and was a member of the Varner River Baptist Church in Kennett. His life centered around his family, especially spending time with his granddaughter. He loved fishing, playing pool, and working on his truck. Survivors include son, Skylar Pugh & his wife, Stephanie of Kennett; daughter, Nicole Reed of Cave City, AR; father & mother, William & Brenda Cunningham Pugh of Bragg City; brothers, Robert Pugh of Corning, AR & Billy Pugh of Portageville, MO; granddaughter, Lynnox Pugh, several aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by a sister, Brenda Denise Pugh. Memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Varner River Baptist Church in Kennett with Reverend Harold Dunbar officiating. Visitation will begin there at 12:00 p.m. and continue until the time of services. Powell Funeral & Cremation Services, Kennett is in charge of arrangements.
