Anita Dianne Clinton, daughter of the late Joseph Lee Armor and Velma Lee Blanton Armor, was born on Friday, February 13, 1953, in Poplar Bluff, MO entered into the presence of her heavenly Father on Friday, July 5, 2024, at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro, AR at the age of 71 years 4 months 22 days. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, a retired floral designer, and pastor's wife of 54 years impacting thousands of lives, working with children, youth, and ministering to church members and the community. She will be much missed by her family and friends, but we are comforted by the promise of our Lord and Savior that we shall see her again in heaven. On November 21, 1970, she was united in marriage to Rev. Douglas Clinton at Broseley, MO. She is survived by her husband, Rev. Doug Clinton of Senath; son, Eric Clinton & his wife, Jill of Columbia, MO; daughter, Kristy Cantrell & her husband, Travis of Senath; five grandchildren, Alex & his wife, Katie Clinton, of St. Charles, MO, McKenzie Lechak & her husband, Dillion of Phoenix, AZ, Lillie Clinton of Columbia, MO, Dakota Cantrell of Senath, Faith Fiscella & her husband, Reed of Hannibal, MO; four great-grandchildren, Sam, Christopher, and Seth Clinton, and Parker Fiscella, other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe & Velma Armor, 2 brothers and 1 sister. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 9, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Senath with Reverend Chris Hicks officiating. Visitation will begin there at 9:00 a.m. and continue until the time of service. Burial will be in the Senath Cemetery in Senath. Pallbearers will be Duane Deniston, Tom Ryan, Larry Duncan, George Smith, Randal Gibson, Tommy Lynn Jones, and Don Wallace. In lieu flowers memorials may be made to the Senath First Baptist Church, 205 N. Main Street, Senath, MO 63876 or Southside Baptist Church, 701 S. Walnut Street, Kennett, MO 63857. of Kennett Powell Funeral & Cremation Services, Kennett is in charge of arrangements.
