Amanda Jones Davis

Amanda Jones Davis, daughter of the late Clifford Hale Jones and Pamela June Folkes Jones, was born on Tuesday, June 21, 1966, in East St. Louis, IL and departed this life on Tuesday, February 20, 2024, at the Monticello House in Jackson, MO at the age of 57 years 7 months 30 days. Amanda was the office manager for Empire Finance in Kennett. She was loving, caring, funny, outgoing, and the life of the party. She was a wonderful mother, sister, mema and friend. We will carry her in our hearts forever. On August 31, 1985, she was united in marriage to James Davis. He preceded her in death on November 8, 2014. Survivors include sons, Colt Davis & his wife, Tiara of Columbia, MO, Eric Davis of Cave City, AR; daughter, Winter Davis of Kennett; brother, Clifford Jones, Jr. & his wife, Debbie of Kennett; sisters, Tammy Jones Eledge & her husband, Roger of Jackson, MO, Cookie Jones Harris of Kennett; grandchildren, Delayna, Kylee, Madison, Keagan, Blaze, Ava, Hunter, Houston, Keagan; also surviving are two very special friends, Sharon Hopper of Saginaw Michigan, Cindy Henderson of Kennett, many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, two brothers, James Allen (Jimmy) Jones & Cletus Lynn Jones, a sister, Rita June Bost and a granddaughter, Malerie. Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, February 25, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at Powell Funeral Chapel in Kennett with Reverend Doug Clinton officiating. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. and continue until the time of service. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens in Kennett. Pallbearers will be Josh Bost, Israel Bost, Jedadiah Johnson, Trey Walls, Blake Bowers & Shane Jones. Powell Funeral & Cremation Services, Kennett is in charge of arrangements.
